Layering It Down
Josh and Travis from Street Etiquette took on two of our bolder F/W ‘13 suits and showed a whole new way to wear them. Bravo, guys!
I’m not sure how you like your clothing to fit your body and/or gender presentation but off the top of my head I think button ups with black dressy pants might work. You could go with a more traditional long sleeved button up (probably white, cream, or light grey) if that feels comfortable or if you like something more like a blouse, or a sleeveless collared button up, that’s an option too. You could get fancier if you’re interested in evoking the sort of traditional masquerade-wear, but that’s up to you and your comfort with the frills and potential stuffiness of that. Maybe a stylish update on that would be ideal. The images that come up on google searches are helpful for thoughts on this. I like the idea of having a long coat with tails (or a cape type thing?) regardless of what comprises the rest of your outfit, but that’s just me. Oh, and don’t forget a sweet mask!
Good luck!
